Volkswagen has announced seven new pre-configured series ID.3 models for the UK market. This comes just a month after customers in the UK collected their 1st Edition ID.3s. The lowest-priced of these zero-emission compact hatchbacks, the ID.3 Life, will cost £29,990 including the £3,000 plug-in car grant.
The new sub £30,000 ID.3 Life will come with Infotainment and Comfort packages included. This model features cloth seats with integrated armrests and the interior is available solely in black.
Six of the new models, including the Life, will use the familiar 58 kWh battery and 204 PS motor seen on the 1ST Edition. The ID.3 Tour will also feature a 204 PS motor but introduces a 77 kWh battery that increases the range to 336 miles.
Next year more accessible variants with lower power outputs and a smaller 45 kWh battery will go on sale. Customers will be to order the new ID.3 Life, and any of the new models, from next week, with first deliveries by the end of the month.

The ID.3 Life is far from basic, with our medium-sized battery, most powerful motor and extensive standard equipment list. Versions of the ID.3 with a smaller battery and less powerful motors will go on sale later next year with an even lower price.
