Vauxhall announces pricing and specification for all-new Combo-e Life electric car

Vauxhall’s new all-electric Combo-e Life is now available to order with prices starting from £31,610. This on-the-road price includes the government’s Plug-in Vehicle Grant (PIVG). The Combo-e Life is a spacious and practical family lifestyle electric car and is one of few fully electric vehicles of its type on the market.

The Combo-e Life features a 50kWh lithium-ion battery and a 100kW (136 metric horsepower) electric motor producing 260Nm of torque. It’s capable of up to 174 miles (280km) from a single charge. Supporting up to 100kW rapid charging, an 80 percent charge takes just 30 minutes.

All Combo-e Life variants come as standard with a single-phase 7.4kW onboard charger. An optional three-phase 11kW charger is also available.

With its zero emissions, the Combo-e Life is crucially exempt from current congestion and ultra-low emissions charges. It also comes with a benefit-in-kind rate of one percent and no vehicle excise duty.

In addition, all fully electric Vauxhalls purchased will be automatically registered for eight years battery warranty, eight years roadside assistance and six months BP Pulse subscription.

The new Combo-e Life is available exclusively in SE trim and medium and extra-large model variants. Medium models can be specified in either five or seven-seat configurations and measure 4.40 metres long. It features up to 597 litres of boot space which extends up to 2,126 litres with the rear row folded.

The extra-large vehicles measure 4.75 metres long and come exclusively with seven seats. These offer 850 litres of boot space which can be boosted up to 2,693 litres with the rear rows folded.

All new Combo-e Life variants are available to order now at dealers or online, with first deliveries due in October.
