Which Tesla electric car has the best range?

CURRENT MODELS

Model S

Tesla’s Model S saloon cars are the brand’s highest performance model range from the electric carmaker. They offer the combination of top speed, great acceleration but still deliver when it comes to range. The Plaid version is Tesla’s king of overall range offering a stunning 405 miles (651km) from a single charge. There was a Plaid+ with a proposed 520 mile (km) range but Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, pulled it stating that there was no need for this much range.

Model 3

The Model 3 is Tesla’s most affordable model range with prices starting under £41,000. This still delivers a high performing car in terms of speed and acceleration, yet remains affordable and practical with an impressive range. Even the cheapest Model 3 delivers a range of 278 miles (447km).

Model X

The Model X, which is an electric crossover modern more compact version of the sports utility vehicle (SUV), followed Tesla’s Model S as the third vehicle the model brought to market. It offers a little more space but performance is king once again with high top speeds and good acceleration, yet both models still offer an exceptional range of up to 360 miles (579km).

Tesla have several models, including the Model Y compact crossover, the Roadster sports car and Cybertruck, pick-up on the way. They’re currently available to order with a small deposit. Tesla offer proposed specification figures where possible and some models will be special if they become a reality on production models. The Roadster is the big standout with a top speed of over 250 mph (402kph) and an outstanding range of 620 miles (998kph). Similarly, the Cybertruck is impressive, with a proposed top speed of 250+mph (805+km) and range of 500+miles (805+km) on the top-end tri motor all-wheel-drive model.
